Sonja has lived with her family in New Bern since 1998. A native from Croatia she lived in Germany for a number of years.

Her hope is that New Bern will surprise you in the same delightful way it surprised her when she first came to the city. I am a North Carolina transplant and found New Bern the perfect place to set down new roots. I am originally from Brooklyn, NY, where in my past life was a Para-legal for corporate attorneys for almost 25 years. I moved to Phoenix, AZ where I decided that Real Estate is really my first love and pursued my new career for 3 years.

After living in Arizona for a while, my husband and I realized how much the Atlantic Ocean meant to us and we began our hunt for a new life.We ventured into New Bern almost by accident and saw its beauty and immediately fell in love with this town.  And why not with all that New Bern has to offer.  It’s rich history along with its historical buildings.  It’s waterfront, restaurants and arts.  Friendly people, mild weather, boating, fishing, crabbing, golf courses, long walks by the Rivers and oh so close to the magnificent Atlantic Ocean and stunning Outer Banks. Barbara is a North Carolina native and has been a realtor since 1985. She has been very involved with the New Bern Board of Realtors, and has served on the Board of Directors as well as the Multiple Listing Service. In 1995 she served as President of the Board of Realtors, and that same year, she was named Realtor of the Year. She is a member of the New Bern Kiwanis Club, Christ Episcopal Church, and enjoys gardening, boating and playing bridge. She is also active in community service through the American Cancer Society, and she is listed in "Who's Who in American Executive & Professionals." Although she is busy with her New Bern, NC real estate career and her family, one of her greatest joys is to get out on the water. She loves sailing and boating of all kinds and this area is perfect for that!

Greg has lived in the Carolinas for over 20 years, moving with family from Illinois to South Carolina in 1981. He has lived in North Carolina for the past four years and decided to make New Bern his home in April 2004, again a move he made to be near family. He is very family oriented and understands the tensions involved in finding a home and entrusting another to assist in the important tasks and decisions involved with this process. His family has been in the real estate business for nearly 10 years and decided that the timing was right to open Clear Water Realty and to join the Prudential team of New Bern, NC real estate agents in 2005. Rick is an energetic and dedicated real estate professional. His specialties are water front properties and homes. He is a native of the Chicago area and spent recent years in South Carolina and Florida. He moved to New Bern in 2004 in order to be closer to family and to launch his real estate career. Most of his professional life has focused on operations management and government contracting where he had the opportunity to lend his services to the prestigious University of South Carolina School of Medicine. His management background has provided him with the insight necessary to work with individuals from all walks of life. He welcomes the opportunity to assist anyone who is looking to purchase or sell a home or lot in the New Bern, Pamlico, or Carteret area. Rick holds the coveted GRI designation. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Although Judy moved to New Bern several years ago, she and her husband chose to live here because of New Bern’s history, beautiful waterfront and extensive boating waters. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Judy has also lived in New York and New Jersey during the past 30 years. Judy was a certified EMT as well as a licensed real state agent in New Jersey. Clearly, Judy’s interest in helping people and real estate has increased through the years.

Judy is a resident of Fairfield Harbour and a former volunteer firefighter with the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department.  She also volunteers at the New Bern Civic Theatre, performing in many capacities.  Judy founded the Fairfield Harbour Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) and acted as Director for the first 2 ½ years, she continues to be active with the Fairfield Harbour CERT team.

Judy is fond of saying, “ If you live in New Bern and you are bored, it’s your own fault, since there are so many interesting and diverse things to do here.”

Erica is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Education. As Office Manager for the Sanderson Team Erica does all the behind the scenes work, such as putting new listings on the websites and maintaining them, designing flyers and keeping current information in the magazine ads. In her spare time Erica enjoys teaching dance at Down East Dance, performing with The Green Grass Clogger’s and the Craven Historical Dancer’s.

Jason is a native of New Bern and worked as a Paramedic for Craven Regional Medical Center for six years prior to becoming one of New Bern’s top realtors. Jason graduated at Coastal Carolina College with a degree in Emergency Medical Science.
